We’ve tried a lot of different salsa recipes over time. This is best combination of ingredients we’ve found so far.
Ingredients
- 1 (28 oz) can of peeled plum tomatoes, undrained
- 2 (10 oz) cans of Rotel with green chilies (drained)
- 1/2 cup roughly diced yellow onion
- 1 – 2 jalapeno, seeded and diced
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1/2 to 1 cup cilantro leaves along with tender stems
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
Directions
Dump all ingredients into a blender EXCEPT tomatoes. Blend well.
Add tomatoes. Blend well.
Add garlic salt, lemon, and lime to taste.
